Gayle Skidmore is releasing her second album “Sleeping Bear” on 17th September and “Sickle in the Shade” is the lead track from it. It’s a great mash of piano power chords, pacey drums and electric guitar tendrils. Gayle’s voice has a hushed tone to it that gives it depth and breadth. Everyone knows I’m a sucker for piano rock and this is no exception.
