One of the possibly the only annoying thing with the changes to stats via WordPress is that I now have almost 600 visitors who visited “Home Page” and that means that these most viewed charts at the start of each month are missing 20% of the page views considering HPM get about 3000 a month. However Bredan Perry stays on top again, although only just this month as his tour got underway and we posted live clips of all the new songs on his tour. I’m so excited for the new album! Most viewed post though was strangely a review from last year, Echochrome’s OST! Is it because Echoshift’s making waves I wonder? Here’s the top 10 viewed artists…

While I wait for Ayumi’s latest album to ship its way to me (I’ve not even heard a single yet, I’ve been so good) I’ve been really enjoying Abottchen’s piano covers of Ayumi’s songs. Abottchen are two guys who plays the same piano and covert so many of Ayu’s songs into magical piano tracks, and each go is faultless. Their arrangements are always really well done.

Ayumi Hamasaki – New CD & DVD Releases

Ayumi Hamasaki never ever, ever sits still. Another year, another CD and live tour DVD release are pretty much a certain bet.

“Rock n Roll Circus” is down for a release date of 14th of April 2010. You can guy the CD version and the CD+DVD version (that’s what I’ll be grabbing) which contains her music videos with some behind the scenes footage and a teaser over her live dvd. Not only that this time round there is a deluxe version too which combines the live Next Level Arena Tour DVD, the new album, mug & tea cup and a 36 page booklet. Now that’s what I call bonus features. Ayu deserves a rest one day though!

Ayu is Back Already!

Does she not have a sit down?! Ayumi Hamasaki is back after the fantastic Next Level album (I really need to review that don’t I?) with her 47th single! “Ballad / You Were…” is a AA side single with a third track “Red Line – for TA” as an extra. There’ll be two versions, one with optional DVD. That must mean another album is coming – the singles out 16th December.

Ayumi Hamasaki Joins the Book War!

Not long after Utada’s double book announcement, Ayumi Hamasaki has joined in as she’s to release a book herself. Currently titled “Deji Deji Nikki 100 Kai Kinen!”, it seems to feature a full compliation of a serial she’s involved in called “Ayu no Deji Deji Nikki” from the magazine ViVi that stretches back 8 years. It will be released on the 12th of March, the same day as Utada Hikaru’s books. A war me thinks!

Ayumi Hamasaki – New Single “Rule”

New year, new single (and we bet new album)! Ayu’s latest song is called “Rule” and is taken from the film Dragonball Evolution. The Double A side also features “Sparkle” which is the TV Spot song that promotes the film. There are three editions, each with different extras. Jacket A has the music videos to both songs, Jacket B has “Day’s (Acoustic version)” and Jacket C’s got “Green (Acoustic version). Release date is February 25th
