Not content with interesting band name spellings, Hvmmingbyrd are my latest alt-pop Irish duo to grace the site. With piano at the base of their music, what makes them stand out is the fact its their voices that make up half of what you hear in your ear. It’s not quite pop, it’s got that shoop shoop jazz vibe, but it’s certainly atmospheric and captivating. I’m excited to see what direction the duo take because there’s many strings to their bow in this one song alone:
