The Blur Hour have the quintessential 4AD sound, with lush echoing guitars and synthetic bass lines that cuddle you and make you mosh at the same time. It’s all very Cocteau Twins, but The Blue Hour has more of an acoustic pagan folk feel to things too, and I really like where it all merges together. Their single “One More Mystery” showcases their sound excellently and is taken from their forthcoming album, Always, that is out at the end of next month.
