Composer and multi-instrumentalist Danny Mulhern has a background in soundtracks but has been spreading his wings into his own standalone compositions. His new EP “Safe House” comes hot on the heels of his 2017 album “Metanoia” and continues to show Danny’s tense and coiled classical leanings. The single “Weight of the Nation” is a mixture of pizzicato strings that are both playful but foreboding as the tense atmosphere of the rest of the instruments crowds the joy out.
