Minneapolis duo and real couple Strange Relations have an unusual crossbreed of genres. Their feminity is encased in alluring, hushed vocals but they are also delivered in a messy, shoegaze style that when paired up with indie pop music, makes for an interestingly off-kilter sound. It took me a few listens to truly appreciate their new single “Sure” and it comes from their second album “Editorial You” which is out now.
