Introducing… Blesson Roy

Desert dream pop

Blesson Roy is the new dream-pop project for Terry Borden. He previously played in the slowcore band Idaho. Terry had taken some time away from music to get his mojo back and Blesson Roy is the result of his revitalised return. Using his UAE home, you can hear the desert textures in his compositions too which gives his dream-pop a bit of grit too.

‘In Tune With The Moon’ is the lead single from the forthcoming EP ‘Time is a Crime’. It features plenty of jangly guitars, neon synths and rustic yet dreamy vocals. Whilst the chorus is fantastic, I really love the extended rocky outro for the single. The lyric video is below for you to enjoy. The EP is currently due for release on the 8th of May and is available for pre-order. As someone who is new to Terry’s work, I’m quite excited to hear how Blesson Roy can kick off a brand new style for him whilst using all his experience too.
