Introducing… Easy

Easy does it after 30 years of making music...

Easy have been making music over the course of the last 30 years. The Swedish rock band started off in the early 90’s but then when on hiatus for 16 years in 1994. They had already been touring Europe, making their sound of The Beach Boys melodies but with a depressed Cure / Sonic Youth edge, a hit. Reuniting back in 2010, they’ve been releasing material since and are gearing up for their new album ‘Radical Innocence’. It is coming out on the 1st of May.

The lead single is ‘Day for Night’. To me, it sounds like a quintessential British pop-rock track, although none of Easy hail from here. It has that brash vocal delivery of us common folk and a workman-like grit to it. Underneath, the music is more uplifting and positive than the sound it creates. Enjoy the single’s lyric video below. It’s out now. The album is available to pre-order.
