Introducing… USA Nails

Nailing the riffs and screams

I’ve found that as 2020 has gone on I’ve gravitated towards heavier, more dissonant and more aggressive punk for cathartic release. Enter USA Nails – a four-piece punk band from London. They specialise is rowdy punk that relies on a fair bit of shouting, whammy bars and a surge of riotous energy that carries their hooks and feelings through. They’ve gained a bit of a cult following over time and are about to release their new album ‘Character Stop’ on the 23rd of October. The band say it is their most varied album to date and that the variety made them stronger and better at making music because of it. I’m excited to hear how it sounds on release.

The title track from USA Nails’ new album has received an eye-bleeding music video where they send up face filters. I also appreciate it when they reply to the woeful YouTube bots of single ladies looking for love in the comments too. Clearly, they are a great bunch to be around and the single rocks your socks. Enjoy it below. The album is available for pre-order now.
