Alt-Pop alternative chamber pop ethereal Introducing... piano pop singer songwriter

Introducing… Realma

Witchy cinema from the foggy forest

Sitting somewhere between the witchy edges of Kate Bush and the ethereal faun form of artists like Goldfrapp, Mandalay and Hundred Waters – Realma is a curious find. She mixes dreamy piano, interesting vocal coo’s and off-kilter production to create a cinematic alt-pop swirl. Her new single ‘A Hint of Pink’ came out last week and it took me a few listens to really appreciate everything that was going on. Realma penned it after having a distressing police incident when returning home from studying abroad. She says that the song represents trying to summon creativity in a broken reality.

‘A Hint of Pink’ is Realma’s debut single so we’re getting in early with this artist. There is a ton of promise here and I’m excited to see where it leads. Enjoy the single below.
