Manu Delago Embarks on ReCycling Tour by bicycle!

A sustainable way to tour and a livestreamed concert too.

Handpan player and composer Manu Delago is embarking on a 1600 kilometre bicycle ride as part of his new musical tour! His ReCycling Tour will see his band perform 25 shows in 35 days whilst promoting sustainability in the music industry. Between each stop on his tour, the band will pack up their instruments and ride to the next venue on pedal power alone. Manu has said the band will use sustainable products throughout and use solar panels to generate power for their bicycle trailers. I think it is a fabulous idea and to celebrate the start of the tour Manu Delago has released a new single called ‘ReCycling’.

The single uses the bicycle as an instrument – from bells to spokes to handlebars – it is all in there and quite ingeniously put together. You can enjoy the piece below. As the start of the tour is holding shows behind closed doors, there will be a livestreamed show on the 8th of May. You can set a reminder for it on YouTube.
