Faultress returns with bold single ahead of debut album

Dark chamber pop for the brooding masses.

As a huge fan of Faultress and her previous EP ‘5 Myths‘, the singer-songwriter is building momentum ahead of her debut album. Using her evocative voice as a banshee choir, sweeping synths and melancholic piano, ‘Sleep Child’ is her latest single. It is a dark and brooding piece that could score any Nordic mystery series. I particularly love how tense and foreboding the final third is without needing to smash a drum or resort to cliché moments.

‘Sleep Child’ is the second single from Faultress’ forthcoming debut album ‘Nocturnes’. The album is slated for release on the 1st of October but the single is out now. Enjoy the track below and pop over to the Faultress website for more information.
