Introducing… Plum Green

When the folk artist discovers her darker side.

Melbourne based dark-folk artist Plum Green returns with his brand new single ‘White Kitten’. Up until this new release, Plum Green was a little more of a traditional folk and rock girl but now she’s taken a darker tone. Channelling a dreamy witch vibe ala Wendy Rule, Chelsea Wolfe and Emily Jane White, Plum Green has moved towards one of my favourite genres. ‘White Kitten’ sets this tonal shift up excellently with a dreamlike music video too.

The track is from Plum Green’s forthcoming album ‘Somnambulistic’. The album will have nine tracks that are to act as a protection spell from the outside world, whilst acknowledging the horrors still exist. I’m expecting more dark acoustic-driven witchery and haunting vibes. Enjoy the track below. If you want to find out more, you can visit the album’s promo page.
