Introducing… Void Comp

Synthwave channelling alt-rock moods.

Evoking vibes of indie rock artists like Clock Opera and Duologue, Void Comp is the solo project from singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist David Julé. The Canadian artist wields a Prophet-08 synth like a guitar for his new single ‘Come My Way’. The track starts off slow and subdued like a late-night lounge with synths and beats. Then the second half escalates into something SOHN would be proud of as the synth solo takes centre stage. Void Comp brings all the moodiness of an alt-rock band but places the sound of the synthesizer front and centre.

‘Come My Way’ is the lead single from the new EP ‘Last Days’, which will hopefully be a debut EP to launch a striking new career channelling the vibes of one genre into the sound of another. The EP is out now. You can follow Void Comp for more information on Facebook.
