Introducing… The Elephant Trees

Manchester's up and coming trio building a community.

Hailing from indie music central Manchester in the UK, The Elephant Trees are looking to make a huge splash in 2022. They are working on a new EP and the trio are releasing their first track from it “Ones and Zeros” today. It’s a song about the problems of living and growing up in the information age. Sonically it mixes up as the track moves from poppy uptempo choruses to an aggressive rap middle to a rockier edge. Like the band themselves, they are difficult to place in a single genre but then that’s why I really enjoyed the track.

The Elephant Trees aren’t just inclusive about their music genres, they carry it forward to their tours too. All support slots are filled by LGBTQ+ artists and they advocate for safe spaces in venues. It’s great to see the community providing support for each other. Enjoy the neon stringtastic music video for “Ones and Zeros” below. For more info on tours, shows and the forthcoming EP, follow The Elephant Trees on Twitter.
