Jillian Aversa & Doug Perry Cover “NieR”

NieR is one of my favourite video game soundtracks of the last games console generation. There was such a beauty to it’s raw rooted passion and anger. It’s great that the soundtrack has begun to see a few covers and arrangements now and the latest is Jillian Aversa whom is becoming something of a video game music diva. Her cover of “Song of the Ancients” is anther stunner. Laid back, haunting and cradling –  it’s a perfect arrangement for something that could have been overwrought.
