Introducing… Chic Gamine

Chic Gamine are a French/Canadian indie-pop quintet that have a vintage 60’s vibe about their singing and the fab music video for their lead single “Light A Match” channels all of that. They also remind me a small bit of First Aid Kit too but really what makes this band unique is that they all sing together almost like a choir-like chorale arrangement (albeit pop style) over the punchy indie-pop melodies. It gives it that vintage sheen and I certainly approve.

Their new album is also called “Light A Match” and came out last week and we will be reviewing it early next month.
