Mr Universe hails from New Orleans and has spent the last two years pulling together tracks he has penned over the past decade. It’s a punchy 70’s rock vibe that is understated and simple. I love the feeling that it was all lovingly crafted in a bedroom somewhere and it’s got that home brew warmth to it.
The lead track “You Got Away” is available below and the album itself will be available next month entitled “Everything’s Good/It’s Not Working”. Sounds like my daily conversation between my management and myself at work!
