PJ Harvey and Harry Escott collaborate for music score track

I have often wondered what PJ Harvey in a film score would be like and now we know. Teamed up with British composer Harry Escott, PJ’s voice is sorrowful in this beautiful folk ballad that bridges the beauty of delicate guitar and more than a pinch of melancholy from Harvey. Escott’s ability to not crowd any of the instruments and leave plenty of space to breathe is the key to “An Acre of Land”.
