Concrete Knives released their debut album in 2012, but return with their follow up next month. Lead single “Gold Digger” has everything I want and need from an indie pop band that mix catchy riffs, uplifting chorus’ and a splash of grit and fun in equal measure. The French band took their time getting their eye back into music as the dreaded difficult second album often is the hardest to do – but it sounds good to me so far!
