One of my favourite pieces of cinematography ever made is Koyaanisqatsi. The non-narrative look at the world in 1978 hosts some of the most awe-inspiring and thought-provoking images I’ve ever seen. In this interview from the DVD, Philip Glass, the composer for the film, talks along with Godfrey Reggio about how they scored and edited the movie together in a collaborative experience. If you have never seen the film, I urge you to do so.
