
Olafur Arnalds kick starts his tour next month and he has been showing off some of the technology he uses to compose and create music in new and interesting ways. Below are two episodes from his six-part series that focuses on the piano and the tool “Stratus Pianos” which takes his piano playing, digitalises it, and then plays unusual sympathetic notes or chords on other pianos or synths. It sounds amazing and Arnalds talks about how it changes how he composes music. Under that is the result – a new track called “Re:Member” which has the tool front and centre.
