Marcus Warner creates huge scaled cinematic music that charges the very fibre of your soul. He has created 67-minute documentary/teaching session/behind the scenes combo on how to create an orchestral album. The interesting catch? He is doing it all home using samples and has been doing so successfully for the last seven years.
The Brit is joined by Rory Sherman as they discuss everything from writing, recording, mastering, distribution and marketing advice. It really is a cradle to grave approach and Marcus Warner demonstrates it all with his Reprise EP release from 2019. It’s informative, quaint, funny and a bit like you’ve gone to an informal but posh tea party but its all part of the charm.
Enjoy the documentary below. Reprise EP is out now.
