Colorado’s Gleemer are a three piece band that balance sombre rock and huge sound beautifully. They remind me of my late teen years when power minor chords were everything to me – especially with a sad vocal. The title track for their forthcoming album ‘Down Through’ is the lead single. It features a sound that reminds me a little of Green Day when they do slower, sludgier songs. The song itself, like the album, is about discovering your roots of what made you who you are today.
Rockers and emos will lap Gleemer up. You can enjoy the single below. ‘Down Through’ is currently available to pre-order and is due for release on the 9th of May. Grab your phone lights and lighters at the ready. I predict it is going to be one of those albums!
