Introducing… School of X

Indie pop chills from the School of X

School of X is the moniker for Rasmus Littauer, who is often found drumming for many other bands such as MØ. Alongside bandmates Simon and Mauro, School of X create a sublime indie-pop feel with their new single ‘Bad Love’. The track starts off with just piano and vocals before evolving into an understated guitar and drum led finale. It reminds me of some of my favourite discoveries in the last few years like Clock Opera and Duologue.

‘Bad Love’ is the second single from the forthcoming debut album ‘Armlock’ which is due out on the 29th of May. The band say they are looking forward to releasing an album full of positive ambiguity. That extends to their music video for the single where they all had film their bits separately and stay apart due to the current COVID restrictions. I think some of the face layering images are fantastic though. Enjoy the music video for ‘Bad Love’ below. The single is out now – the album is available to pre-order.
