One of my favourite discoveries of 2020 so far musically is the collaboration of Choul Bwa & The Ångstromers. I loved their album and this live performance really captures the mix between the analogue voice and percussion from Haiti and the Nordic love of synth work. Combined its a carnival of emotions and feelings that you can ride like a ceremony.
One of the few things that COVID-19 has done that has been positive is find lots of niche live performances much easier online. This is one of those truly exceptional examples. KEXP always delivers with a diverse lineup so if you enjoy music, I recommend subscribing to their YouTube channel. Enjoy the performance below.
