Bizou is a fascinating mixture of musicians who have been in other bands you may have heard of elsewhere, coming together to create their own sound together. I’ll let you guess who is who as a mini-test but Bizou comprises of ex The Smashing Pumpkins, Veruca Salt, Wax Idols, and Light FM. Between them, Bizou creates darkwave anthems that pull in from the likes of Garbage, Curve and Ladytron. This is very much an individual project that deserves its own limelight.
‘Crashing Sky’ comes from Bizou’s latest EP entitled ‘stilllifeburning’ which was released earlier this year. I literally stumbled across this track on Soundcloud by accident and had to relisten to it immediately – it is that good. Enjoy the track below – this is the exact mood I needed today.
