Happy Holidays From Higher Plain Music!

Happy holidays!
Wishing you all a bit of peace during this nutty year.

I wanted to take this opportunity to wish everyone a great festive break whatever it is you get up to. 2020 has been a crazy year but one of the guiding lights to help me get through it has been music and diving heavily into this website to help it grow and develop. Thank you for reading and if you have stuck about and became a regular visitor – even more thank yous!

I’ll be posting my traditional end of year ‘Top Albums’ list in the week between Christmas and New Year but aside from that, the usual 10 posts a week will return from 3rd January 2021. The first week will be featuring 10 musicians I wanted to showcase late in the year but didn’t have the room due to wanting to cram as many reviews in before the year was out.

For 2021, Higher Plain Music will continue to post 10 times a week. I will also be starting audio interviews and bringing back written ones too with musicians I think will entertain and educate us about the music they make. I will also be actively building up the musicians resources section of the site which I simply ran out of time to do in 2020 and also Higher Plain Records will begin in earnest in 2021 too.

I look forward to shining a light on music that moves you for many years to come.

Stay safe and enjoy yourselves,

Simon
