coldwave Dark Wave goth goth pop Introducing... synthwave

Introducing… Prospertine

Darkwave for Eurovision lovers.

If darkwave goth pop was allowed to enter this years Eurovision, Prospertine would be my pick for top honours. Prospertine are Arlen Leigh (vocals) and Jeremy Bastard (guitars and programming). The duo are based in LA and NYC in America and released their first single back in January. ‘Home’ is a full on emotional hyperdrive single with huge drums, big synths and Arlen’s acrobatic and powerful voice commanding your attention. I am a huge fan of this style of darkwave music and this two have a should-be anthem waiting for discovery with this single.

Little is known about what Prospertine’s immediate future holds. Hopefully a few more stomping singles before an EP or LP would be something I’d personally love to see. In the meantime, to get those of you who love those quirky Eastern European entries in Eurovision – get yourself in the mood! Enjoy the music video for ‘Home’ below.
