Devours returns with ‘Hairspin’ to kick off a new era of “hyper pop with humanity”

A new era of hyper pop chaos is unleashed.

Canadian artist Devours returns with their fantastic new single ‘Hairspin’ and it contains one of my favourite synth riffs in recent memory. The track kicks off a new era of self-exploration and feels like a reference to Devours’ experience with body dysmorphia and its prevalence in gay culture. Outside of that, ‘Hairspin’ is another chaotic anthem for those that love bleeps, beats and emotions written in bloody tears in bold. Quite where this era will take us I’m not sure but having turned in one of my favourite albums in the last decade with their previous work ‘Escape from Planet Devours‘, I’ll certainly be buying my ticket to get on the ‘galien’ spaceship.

Enjoy ‘Hairspin’ below, the track is out now. For more information on Devours, take a look at his Linktree for your preferred platform.
