We don’t get to hear composer Max LL’s music performed live often. That’s why it is a treat to hear his new standalone single ‘Growing Love’ performed live by Quatuor Andara. With violin, viola, cello and guitar, the romantic string-focused arrangement is a beautiful piece of music. Max LL has said he has avoided using the word love in his music as it’s over commercialised. Becoming a father has changed his perception and understanding of the word and as such, it feels like this track is dedicated to that bond.
‘Growing Love’ is out now on Bandcamp and hopefully, this will open the doors for more of his music to be captured live.
