Introducing… Rila’s Edge

Missing that perfect 90’s fuzzy indie-rock? Let me introduce you to Rila’s Edge – a 5-piece band from Berkshire. Their latest single ‘Pimlico Road’ is an anthemic classic with bold chords, surges of energy, punchy drums and a euphoric chorus. It borrows from everything I loved about 90’s indie-rock and adds some modern-day technical twists in the production. Deceptively melodic for a rowdy and optimistic song, this showcases Rila’s Edge musical craftsmanship.

Speaking about ‘Pimlico Road’, guitarist and song-writer Ollie said:

For this track, I was thinking about how cities like London can feel either magical or lonely, depending on who you’re with. Inspired by bands like Cage the Elephant and Smashing Pumpkins, we aimed for a loose, fuzzy vibe.

Complete with retro video camera filters of a day out in London, the music video fits the vibe perfectly. ‘Pimlico Road’ is out now and Rila’s Edge will undoubtedly be touring and releasing more music in 2025. Use their Linktree to select the platform you’d like to follow them on.
