Deya Dova has released some magical albums over the last few years. The duo (Deya and producer Hamilton) travelled to 12 energy points around the world to record music at those points. This culminated in 12 mini-albums documenting the music created at sites in the Yucatan, Hawaii, New Zealand, and South Africa. These albums are integrated into an energetic concert experience, weaving in older material from Deya Dova’s back catalogue too.
Expect deep rhythms, ancient chants, calls, and lots of electronic beats as the concert features remixes of many songs to adapt to the festival experience. It is a transcendent and downright groovy experience. The rhythms, traditional samples, and Deya’s vocals are sublime. The full 90-minute concert is available, with additional visual effects added on top. If you need a boost for the equinox, or just to reset your mind after the daily grind – this is an uplifting concert to tune into.
