Live Vault – Jonathan Bree

If an old school crooner took on darkwave synthpop, you’d arrive at something similar to Jonathan Bree. I discovered him just before he released his 2023 album ‘Pre-Coded Hollywood’. That album marked a steer towards glitter goth pop elements, and it was teamed up with a world tour to support the release. The 52-date tour is now available as a homebrew-styled full concert release called ‘Live in Mexico City’. The 70-minute concert was captured using retro cameras, fan mobile footage, and has a distinct DIY quality to it. The actual music is a proper soundboard recording, thankfully, so we can enjoy the music at its finest.

Enjoy the unique twist on a live concert record from Jonathan Bree, available on YouTube. For more information on all things Jonathan Bree, visit his Bandcamp.
