Kathryn Joseph returns with new album and single

Essentially joint winner of my album of the year in 2015 and also one of my favourite live acts I’ve seen in the last few years, Kathryn Joseph is returning with a new album in August this year. The album is called “From When I Wake The Want Is” and the title track is also the lead single. Joseph’s trademark creaky piano and weathered voice is like warm water to clean old wounds and there’s a distinctly gruff synth edge in the second half that shines through.

The video is very intimate and cuddly. The album is out 10th August.
