Yasi fits firmly into the indie-pop genre combining lots of funky electronic synths and heavy beats of an Icelandic Eurovision entry, occasionally veering to dub-step, sometimes Ellie Goulding and sometimes the percussive angst of Florence and the Machine. Frankly the combination of it all is pretty amazing. What’s better is that her EP is completely free to download from her website.
