Winifred Phillips has long been at the helm of some of the most complex soundtracks in the gaming industry. Her soundtrack for Assassins Creed Liberation (which has just been given a PS3 HD release) is phenomenal and manages to immerse you in the experience perfectly. In the video below, Winifred talks at length about how she believes inviting composers into game production earlier can really help propel inspiration for not just the composer, but the actual game itself. It also talks about combining various genres and expectations together to make unique combinations.
