Ormonde’s new album “Cartographer/Explorer” sounds like it is taking some of the more southern flavours of PJ Harvey and infusing them with some more Cocteau Twin elements. The single “Paintings” took me a couple of listens to tap into but then I truly appreciated the slow burn that envelopes your ears throughout the song. The albums out tomorrow and I’ve popped it onto my wishlist.
