Sara Lowes’ first release from her début album, that’s due February 2015, is a hark back to 60’s and 70’s psychedelia with a modern pop tinge to it. It’s a mash up that works and yet feels quite current at the same time. The mix of vocals up front and all the guitars, brass and keyboards behind is quite hypnotic. I’m looking forward to hearing the full work next year.
