LA based songwriter Matt Kivel has gone for the soft, sincere and agonisingly beautiful route for his acoustic guitar centric rock. He has a voice that sounds like it’s about to burst into tears at any moment and his first song “Janus” shows this to full effect. At nearly six minutes, it’s an unusual choice of track to release as your single but I was utterly captivated.
