My Darling Fury are an indie rock trio from Virginia, USA and they carry some fantastic guitar hooks and sharp electronica elements that remind me a little of St Vincent in the way how she uses her guitar as a razor. Their new single “Satisfied” has some sublime guitar riffs and the vocalist Danny has a great range, however, what I really like is the hint of Afro Cuban rhythms and vocal harmonies hidden behind the surface that become more prominent at the close of the track . They’ll be releasing their second album this year and I’ll be all over it when it arrives.
