Beth Orton is one of the heralded musicians of the UK, never quite reaching mass success but always referenced and loved. After a long period of hibernation she is back with a new album and a much changed sound with new single “Moon”.
It’s been produced by Fuck Buttons’ Andrew Hung and the electronica alongside the weird and wonderful tuned percussion means that the usually folk rock based Beth is really treading some new expressive folktronica ground. “Moon” is taken from the upcoming album “Kidsticks” which is due April – enjoy the track below.
