STEELE hails from Sweden and her new single “Follow” certainly fits into cinematic heavy pop. Plenty of synths, piano and layered vocals. Her first EP comes out in September and is the culmination of many two years working with two other songwriters and producers to create a trio under the STEELE banner. It’s interesting to see the website lists STEELE as a project rather than a name for Sara Steele herself. It reminds me of how Iamamiwhoami forms itself around Joanna Lee.
