Almeeva is the brain child of Gregory Hoepffner – who works with KID NORTH a rock band I really enjoy. Almeeva is much more about electronic soundscapes and his style reminds me of Adam Fielding. It’s lush, full of colour and a variety of instruments and trickery to get you into the pulsing beat. “Part Fiction” is the song he has chosen to perform live – with all the instruments at once and it’s quite a marvel to watch him switch round between them all. His EP came out early this summer and is on Bandcamp.
