John Southworth is unusual. That is all. Only joking. His delivery on his new single “Second Childhood” is really compelling. It creates a mystery from the opening synth riffs through to the unusual chord patterns and musical textures. You may think “what was that” initially but you’ll creep back for a second listen and soon enough you’ll realise the introspective singer/songwriter has pulled you into his world.
