Morosity are an interesting band to place. Their sound is like a travelling caravan of folk music as their style and trends dip in and out of different eras and cultural influences. Whilst a dark folk and rock undertone is there throughout, the hammered dulcimer is one of my favourite instruments of all time and so I love hearing it in different ways. Their album “Low Tide” came out in February and we’ll be reviewing it in a couple of weeks, however their walking dead Nick Cave like drone “Adrift” is a fabulous dirge and so we wanted to give a double dollop of darkness for the group.
