Tori Amos’ new single “Cloud Riders” is some of the most chilled out music she’s ever produced. It’s guitar layers and chord progressions really remind me of the Beatles, something which NPR have also noted. It’s laid back and nods to Scarlet’s Walk and with plenty of Hammond organ involved, The Beekeeper too. Whilst I was expecting something more angrier given what she had said beforehand, I’ve found her singles are not often representative of the album.
