Ryan Vail released his debut album last year and he returns with new single “Shadows” as he forms his minimalist electronica sound. Ryan’s hushed vocals remind me slightly of early Son Lux, and there is a mesh of beautiful strings and electronic instruments in the new single that make that comparison more valid. I can see fans of SOHN also loving this vibe too.
