Introducing… Broads #RecordStoreDay

Sad dance for hard times

Norfolk based electronica duo Broads, have a melancholy to them that means that whilst they have the beats, the bass, the pulse and the synths – they also have a certain depth to them that lulls me into a quietness too. This is demonstrated perfectly in the excellent single “Climbs” which features Milly Hurst on guest vocals too. It’s the lilting strings that make it for me.

“Climbs” is taken from Broads’ recent album Field Theory, released in February, and simultaneously alongside the music video below for that single, released their new ep “Tiamet+3” which is out now. Now that’s a busy three months! Enjoy “Climbs” below.
