
Foreign Poetry are an Austria/English duo that specialises in what I call introspective rock. There’s plenty of guitars, and rolling drums but it’s not actively looking to power chord its way into your brain. Instead, it has a melodic wheel of notes and smashes that will rise and fall and little riffs niggle at your brain instead. Their new single “MHL” is from their new forthcoming album “Grace and Error on the Edge of Now” which will be out later this year.
The music video to “MHL” has some beautiful landscape drone shots. They are taken in Switzerland, One part of the filming took place in the Swiss Alps, the other more urban setting is shot in Hackney Wick. I know where I’d rather be! Enjoy the superb track below:
